Spring has sprung, Dear Ones! And this gathering is extra special, as we'll be celebrating Beltane together on May 1st and throughout the weekend. Honoring the wheel of the year, Beltane marks the halfway point between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice!
Together we'll enjoy live music, shared meals, earth skills, commUnity time, fireside laughter, jams, and drum circles (bring your drums!!), planned kid village activities for our children, and much more! If it's your first time visiting Sage Valley, we can't wait to meet you! If you're returning, we're so excited to Gather with you again.
Here's what you need to know about the Gathering! Stay tuned on Facebook for updates as we get closer to our sacred weekend.
___________________________________________________________
Below you'll find many wonderful ways to get involved and show up as your whole self to the Gathering! We're open to musical performances, workshop leadership, vending, and more in exchange for admission.
This is a co-creative event, meaning we all work together to make it happen! We strongly encourage all attendees to take on a giving (volunteer) shift to contribute to commUnity! There will be a sign-up sheet at the front gate for on-the-spot giving, but if you’d like to secure your shift and entrance ahead of time, please click below to select from many areas of the Gathering that would benefit from your support. (Giving hours can be accepted as donation for admission!)
Giving (Volunteer) Request Form
Don't see a space for your offering? Let us know!
ALL individuals 16+ will need to fill out a Registration Form in order to enter the event. There will be a device at the gate to fill it out upon arrival, a QR code to scan to fill it out on your own device, or you can fill it out now, prior to the event, to save some time once you arrive! Everyone will need to fill this out regardless if you are giving (a volunteer), a vendor, resident, stage artist, have attended events at Sage Valley before, or any other circumstance. This is NOT the same as the other links above! We must have one completed for ALL event attendees for every event in addition to your ticket, giving, stage, and/or vendor form.
This gathering is hosted by Sage Valley, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All proceeds go towards creating the event and growing the projects and programs at Sage Valley! Donations of time, resources, or monetary energy beyond the suggested donation are encouraged.
Suggested donation to camp at this event is on a sliding scale of $33-$111 per adult or family, IN ADDITION TO one or more items to donate to Dharma Greens Vegan Kitchen, which provides free meals throughout the event. Day passes are available with a give-what-you-can donation. Children 15 years old and under require NO admission donation. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian. We do accept alternatives to monetary donations!

FAQ
➸11:11 MEETINGS
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday there will be a community-wide meeting at 11:11 am! This is the time to receive all the information you need to make your Gathering experience as wonderful as possible. Please aim to attend daily to stay updated on the day's flow, ask questions, offer your input, and get to know our team and community members!
➸GATE HOURS
The gate officially opens at 12PM on Thursday, May 1st. ((Early entry will ONLY be allowed for registered and pre-approved Givers.)) The gate will be closed at 9PM each night to ensure safety. Entry after 9PM will not be permitted. DRIVE SLOWLY when approaching the gate, the road is curved at the gate entry and on a hill! The event will end on Sunday, May 4th after our 11:11 meeting! Please be prepared to depart promptly afterward. ((Unless you'd like to stay and help us clean up! We'd love that! Please fill out the Giving Form above to volunteer.))
➸WHY MONETARY DONATION? WHY FOOD DONATION?
Admission and kitchen donations ensure we are all giving what we can. As a nonprofit, No profits are taken from donations. Donations go into creating the most magical Gatherings we can now and in the future. Hosting a gathering of this magnitude takes resources and funding. Our goal is to provide as much as we can in a sustainable way. Donations can be made online and at the gate.
Everyone entering the event grounds will need a donation and/or to be giving service to the community. If you find the suggested minimum donation unaffordable, there are GIVING (volunteer) opportunities so that you can give back through service rather than monetarily. We also encourage creative alternative donations for admission. Our list of acceptable donation items
IMPORTANT NOTE: All ONLINE DONATIONS ARE Final, NON-REFUNDABLE, & NON-RETURNABLE.
By donating you understand & agree to all the information provided on the donation/ticket website (coming soon!). Tickets are transferable & you are encouraged to gift your ticket if circumstances shift and you're unable to attend.
➸CAMPING, RVs & BUSES
This are NO hookups available at Sage Valley.
There are designated spaces spaces for RVs, busses, and Vans. They'll be pointed out to you join arrival!
➸CAMPING
Sage Valley is off-grid and camping is PRIMITIVE. Please plan accordingly. There are several options for your camping experience including areas for car camping, tent camping, family camping, & forest camping. (Forest camping requires all gear to be hiked in as it is not accessible by vehicles. If you need help with transporting gear, we have a UTV and maybe able to help! Just let those at gate check-in know.)
➸FOOD AND WATER
Sage Valley's Dharma Greens Vegan Kitchen will provide plant based meals throughout the weekend! You're welcome to bring in additional food for nourishment between provided meals. Though wildlife is minimal during gathering season, please prepare as if you were camping anywhere outdoors. If you need advice on how to store your food, let someone know!
You may use a small camp stove at your campsite. You may NOT build a fire at your campsite unless there is a fire pit already present when you arrive. You may NOT cook at the sacred fire. If you need a fire for cooking or just want to experience such glory, please let someone know and we will show you where to go!
Sage Valley's water is pumped from the well underneath the land and filtered for our drinking. You're encouraged to bring your own water in addition! While we work hard to ensure we have drinking water at all times, the filtration process can take some time once everyone is refilling, and Water is Life! You can't have too much.
➸DRIVING/PARKING DURING EVENT
View our Driving/Parking Policy here. This will be strictly adhered to during the Gathering.
➸VENDORS
Come one and come all vendors! We encourage vending of your DIY and homemade crafts, art, services, foods, and more! If you are interested in vending, please register here so that we may plan the space accordingly and have a spot reserved for you: https://forms.gle/JRWHv7vGQe2XE3dn8
Vending space is first come, first serve. If you register to vend and find that you are no longer able to attend, please let us know ASAP so that we are able to fill your space with another who may be waiting.
➸SECURITY & SAFETY
This is primarily a self-regulated event where attendees are expected to speak out and stand up for what is right. Bring your best vibrations and remember that LOVE is the answer. Appointed Peace Keepers will be available throughout the event to promote safety. We take care of each other and strive to create a SAFE SPACE for all! Please be sure to respect and listen to one another.
➸HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY
We do everything we can to make this event as accessible as possible to all. Parking is within walking distance from the main event area, however, the terrain is naturally very uneven. If you have any special needs to be considered, please reach out to the event organizers so that we may try our best to accommodate you.
➸LEAVE-NO-TRACE
This is a LEAVE-NO-TRACE event! It's simple: leave the place you camp the same or better than you found it. Pack it in and pack it out. This property is an actual ecovillage where people live. Please treat it the way you would want others to treat your own home. If you see others not honoring the LEAVE-NO-TRACE motto, take some time to explain to them why it's important & nicely ask them to pick up after themselves. All trash brought onto the land must be carried off of the land. Trash removal costs money & uses resources, energy, and time. Attendees found disrupting the natural beauty of the land will be removed from the grounds without refund, we are serious here folks! LOVE EARTH!
➸EARTH FRIENDLY
We are a Certified Nature Preserve. Only biodegradable and earth friendly soaps, cleaners, and chemicals should be used at Sage Valley. Let us all be kind to the delicate ecosystems around us. Harmful chemicals can leach into the water systems surrounding us and create a ripple effect with a big impact.
➸SMOKING / TOBACCO USE
Cigarette butts should be properly disposed of and never left on the ground. Smoking should be done in the designated smoking area in the parking lot, away from others and outside of any sacred, kitchen/food, or family spaces. To protect those allergic, asthmatic, or too young to decide, this is the ONLY place where cigarette smoking is permitted.
➸SACRED FIRE
The main Sacred Fire should be honored, cared for, and enjoyed with respect. When coming into this area, please remain mindful. Offerings to the fire are encouraged and permitted items include tobacco or other organic materials. Please do not cook at this fire or burn trash in it - there is a fire in the dining area or in the forest that can accommodate these needs.
➸PETS
Pets are allowed under the premise that they are not aggressive. Non-residential pets or those who are new to Sage Valley must be leashed and cared for at all times. There are farm and resident animals on the property. DO NOT allow pets to disturb the animals who call Sage Valley home. Sage Valley is not responsible for the care and well-being of pets. You will be asked to sign a pet waiver at check-in.
➸FAMILY AND CHILDREN
This Gathering (and Sage Valley in general) is a family centric space. There is a family camping section and Kid Village is available for all. We ask everyone attending to help protect this area and the children around it. Children age 15 and younger require no admission donation!
